Thriving Leaders Retreat
Pullman Bunker Bay Resort, WA
7th to 10th October 2021 - 3 nights
The new playbook of leadership
To be the best version of yourself, to do your best work and be the best leader you can be, is essential at any time but especially during this time of massive disruption and uncertainty when living through a time of a global pandemic.
Fear, anxiety and fatigue can negatively impact the way you and others think, feel and act.
As a leader, you know just how important it is to motivate your team and employees to deliver their best, to work collaboratively, effectively and to encourage them to look after their own health and wellbeing during times of adversity.
…But who cares for the leader?
With the many and varied demands on your time, always being at the beck and call of others, how do you find the time for you, your own wellbeing and effectiveness?
When do you switch off …if ever?
How do you restore, revive and reset when your mind is always busy, getting sleep feels like a pipe dream and though you know looking after your health is important, you’re not sure where to start or what to attend to first?
In the new playbook of leadership, science has revealed what’s needed for now and the future. It involves putting in place those strategies to enhance your mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing to support vitality, smarter thinking, and better decision making while retaining the human skills of empathy, trust, and respect.
You were confident about your level of self-awareness, mindfulness, and emotional resilience to know how to avoid burnout, and maintain your wellbeing?
You knew how to nurture a positive workplace culture founded on care?
Self-care no longer felt selfish or something you feel guilty about not doing better?
The Thriving Leaders Retreat is designed to show you how to:
- Recognise, prevent, and manage burnout in yourself and others.
- Focus on the three core strengths of great leadership.
- Practice self-efficiency tools so everyone (including yourself) gets to get home on time, more often.
- Review and redesign existing work practices that may be outmoded and are holding your business back.
- Enhance wellbeing by tapping into your strengths and values to create a thriver’s mindset based on curiosity and possibility.
- Practice those activities that feed your soul and enhance fulfillment.

Any further questions?
Hi, I’m Dr Jenny Brockis.
I help people who are over-busy, overstretched and exhausted find the calm, clarity and confidence needed to enjoy a successful career AND live a fulfilled and rich life.
As a keynote speaker, I have presented to and worked with thousands of people to empower them to cultivate their own thriving mind.
What gets me out of bed in the morning is the opportunity to impact someone else’s world, seeing the spark of insight in their eyes when they ‘get’ what they can do for themselves. As a voracious reader and prolific writer, I continue to indulge my curiosity and have just published my fourth book Thriving Mind: How to Cultivate a Good Life (Wiley).
As a board-certified lifestyle medicine physician and best-selling author, my vision is to enable everyone to be a happy, thriving human. I’ve always believed that while knowledge is power, it’s knowing how to apply that knowledge that is the gold. My goal is to create safe and positive environments where everyone can learn, upskill and enjoy what they do, whether it’s studying at school or university, working for themselves or working for an employer.
When you have the 3 skillsets required to truly thrive; emotional stability and mental wellbeing combined with great physical and social health, it becomes possible to bring your best self to everything you do, consistently.
If I can influence and inspire even one person, whether through a book I’ve authored, a program I’ve delivered, a workshop I’ve facilitated or keynote given at a conference, to know they have what it takes to be happy, healthy and socially connected, I’ll know I’ve achieved success. Because as every one person gains the knowledge, understanding and takes the first step to cultivating a good life, they create a positive ripple that can spread far and wide.
